Retail Volunteer

As a Retail volunteer, you will be the first point of contact for customers in our shops. It will be a varied role where no day is ever the same, you’ll be there to greet and guide, lend a listening ear and be on-hand to support our retail customers.

Volunteers get to make new friends, become part of our team, and learn new skills while raising money for our hospice.

You will be assisting with:

·       Serving customers

·       Sorting donations

·       Labelling and pricing items

·       Taking part in creating displays on shop windows

·       Decorating and organising seasonal displays

·       Setting up window displays

·       Steaming and tagging items

·       Supporting members of the public

At ellenor we have a fun and friendly environment and welcome the opportunity to develop and train new volunteers. 

We currently have vacancies for our shops in:

Strood – Friday and Saturday 9:00 – 4:30

New Ash Green – Friday afternoon from 12:00 – 4:30,

Darenth Valley Hospital – Saturday 9:00 – 4:30, Friday 9:00 -12:00, Wednesday and Monday 12:00 – 4:30

Welling – Mondays and Wednesdays all day 4:00 – 4:30 Friday and Saturday mornings 9:00 – 12:00

Blackfen – Saturday, Friday and Wednesday 9:00 – 4:30

Dartford Priory – Friday all day (9:00 – 4:30) Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon 1:00 – 4:30

Dartford High Street – Wednesday and Friday all day 9-4.30, Saturday 2-5

Swanley – Monday and Friday afternoons (1- 4.30)

Northumberland Heath – Saturday afternoons 1- 4.30 or flexibility during the week

Crayford – Saturdays 4-4.30 Sundays 10-4 Mondays 9-4.30
