By choosing ellenor as your charity, you’ll be helping us continue to care for people living with life-limiting illness, support families and be there when it matters most.
Whether you’re walking in memory of someone special, for fitness, with friends, family, or colleagues, every step you take helps ensure compassionate care remains available for our community.
Trek routes & distances:
• Morning 25km Trek
From Fort Amherst (Chatham) along the North Downs Way, finishing at White Horse Wood Country Park
• Evening 25km Trek
From White Horse Wood Country Park, finishing at Eastwell Manor
• Full 50km Trek
From Fort Amherst (Chatham) along the North Downs Way, finishing at the stunning Eastwell Manor & Spa
Walk through some of Kent’s most beautiful countryside while making a real difference for families supported by ellenor.
How to take part
This event is run and professionally managed by Kent Search and Rescue (KSAR). To take part and fundraise for ellenor, you’ll need to register through KSAR’s official event platform.
👉 Click the registration link (this will take you to Kent Search & Rescue’s website), where you can:
• Register to walk
• Select ellenor as your chosen charity
• Once signed up your personalised fundraising page will be automatically created via Enthuse
• Share your page and start fundraising
Fundraising & costs
• 70% of all funds you raise will go directly to ellenor to support patient care and services
• 30% of funds raised are retained by Kent Search and Rescue to support operational costs and ensure the event is safely and professionally managed
• Entry fees are retained by KSAR to cover event delivery and safety costs. Your fundraising still makes a significant impact for ellenor while helping ensure the event is delivered safely and to a high standard.
