🎓 Perfect for year 6
The Leaver’s Challenge provides a fantastic opportunity to put learning into action outside the classroom. It complements areas of the Year 6 curriculum including:
- PSHE – resilience, confidence, communication and teamwork
- Geography – landscapes, maps, direction and navigation
- Science – habitats, wildlife and the natural environment
- Outdoor Learning – problem-solving, independence and risk awareness
- Citizenship – community, compassion and making a difference
The event aims to become a recognised rite of passage for Year 6 pupils across Gravesham, Dartford and North Kent, creating a memorable shared experience while raising funds for local families supported by ellenor.
The journey symbolises the pupils’ primary school experience. They start as a team, support one another through the climb, and reach the summit together before beginning their next adventure at secondary school.
