Join us for our Teddy Bear’s Picnic, a fun-filled afternoon celebrating “Dartford, We’re Going on a Bear Hunt”. Follow the trail, then take a well-earned break at our picnic spot for an afternoon of stories, activities and entertainment.

💰 Admission (per participating child):
£10 – includes a lunch box and activity pack
£7 – includes an activity pack (no lunch box)
What to expect:
- Live storytelling sessions inspired by We’re Going on a Bear Hunt
- An activity pack for every paying child, including a bear trail map
- Fun children’s activities and entertainment
- A woodland trail and Teddy Bear Hunt
Food options:
Bring your own picnic or pre-order one of our children’s lunch boxes. Each lunch box includes a sandwich (choice of Jam, Ham, Cheese or Chocolate Spread), a drink, fruit, a cake bar, crisps, and a small pot of bubbles. Dietary requirements can be catered for when ordered in advance.
Please ensure you purchase tickets in advance if you wish to order lunch, as availability on the day is unlikely.

Yes! This event is recommended for children aged 2–11. Younger or older children are welcome if you feel they would enjoy it. All participating children must be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times.
Yes, dietary requirements can be requested at checkout, but must be provided in advance.*

As it’s August, please come prepared for warm weather. Hats and sun cream are recommended. Picnic blankets and/or chairs are also advised, as seating will not be provided.
Supervising adults can attend free of charge, but all participating children will require a ticket.
Parking is available nearby. We recommend allowing extra time as it may be busier than usual.
The event takes place outdoors and while most areas are accessible, some parts of the trail may be uneven. Please contact us in advance if you have specific access requirements.
Yes, you’re welcome to arrive at any point during the event, but we recommend arriving earlier to make the most of all activities.
We definitely encourage it! Bringing a favourite teddy makes the experience even more fun, but it’s not essential
Yes, toilet facilities will be available.
Hot & Cold drinks will be available to purchase. A limited selection of snacks may be available, but we recommend bringing your own picnic or pre-ordering a lunch box to avoid disappointment.
We aim to run the event whatever the weather. However, in cases of severe conditions (e.g. RED weather warnings), the event may be cancelled or rescheduled.
Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted at this event.
