Many people choose to ask for donations in lieu of flowers at a funeral or memorial service
If you are in the process of arranging a funeral or memorial service for a loved one, we would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for thinking of ellenor at this incredibly difficult time.
There are lots of ways you can collect funds in your loved one’s memory at the funeral:
Complete the form on this page to request donation envelopes to collect cash and cheques on the day. Alternatively, your funeral director can request these on your behalf, or you can call us on 01322 626 509.

Paying in Funeral Donations
There are several ways that you can pass on donations made at a loved one’s funeral:
- Cash: If you have cash donations that you would like to pass onto ellenor you can do this in person by visiting ellenor Hospice, Coldharbour Road DA11 7HQ. If you have cash but are not able to get to the hospice, please call our team on 01322 626 509.
- Card: To pay in funeral donations using a credit or debit card, you can visit our donation page or call us on 01322 626509
- Cheques: Please make cheques payable to “ellenor” and post to: ellenor Hospice, Coldharbour Road, Gravesend, DA11 7HQ. Alternatively, you can deliver any cheques in person at the hospice.
- Donations made through a Tribute Page: Any donations made via your loved ones tribute page will be paid directly to ellenor. Meaning you don’t have to do anything, these funds will reach us securely within a week or two of funds being added.

Ways to remember your loved one
Bereavement Support
If your loved one was cared for by ellenor, we may be able to offer you support during your bereavement. Our experienced Wellbeing Team support individuals by offering a range of services such as Bereavement Support, Befrienders, Counselling and much more.
