ellenor has linked up with Wild in Art for a really exciting Bear Hunt Art Trail which takes place this summer in and around Dartford and Bluewater. We are actively recruiting for volunteers to help and we would love to hear from you if you think you can help to volunteer with this campaign and make it a roaring success!
This is a really fun, creative community event designed to bring people together whilst raising vital funds to support the care ellenor provides to local families. It’s a wonderful opportunity to get involved, spread some joy, and make a genuine difference!
The Roles
We will need help in Dartford and Bluewater and the following roles are what we need assistance with please:
- Bear Checkers – stroll the trail to make sure our Bears are looking their best and staying safe.
- Trail Makers – guide families and groups on special walks and share the adventure.
- Trail Hub Helpers – welcome visitors and support at our two hubs in Dartford town centre and Bluewater.
- Trail Preppers – get hands-on in the lead-up with varnishing, polishing, and prepping our Bears.
- Event Support Crew – bring the fun and energy at our Farewell Weekend & Auction.
Introduction Session
You are also invited to attend a special Bear Hunt ‘drop-in’ introduction session at the hospice on Wednesday 22 April 3pm – 6pm where we can tell you more about the project and discuss which roles would suit you. You can attend anytime between the hours of 3pm – 6pm for approximately 30-60 minutes. The afternoon will be a relaxed and welcoming opportunity to come along, meet the team, and find out more about this exciting project. There’s no obligation at all we’d simply love you to come along and find out more about the bear hunt and we can answer any questions that you may have. If you are able to attend, please confirm your attendance by emailing volunteering@ellenor.org as soon as possible.
